2025 A Year of Faithful Stewardship
(Part 7)

We didn’t even know what salvation, forgiveness and the blood of Jesus were. We were far from Jesus.

While we were sinning and living according to the devil or the works of darkness, He still loved us and died for us.

Romans 5:9 says, “Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

I like that word ‘much more.” “Much more then, being now justified by His blood.”

I’ve been justified. I’m in a position where there’s no guilt or shame.

If the accuser of the brethren—the devil—ttakes up our case before the Judge, the judge is my Father, and the Faithful Advocate and Lawyer is Jesus Christ.

My lawyer stands up and says, “My blood has forgiven him. All that he has done I have taken up on the cross.”

Then the judge, our Father, says, "You are not guilty. You are free. You are innocent.”

And every time the devil makes that accusation against you, remember there is a court of law there.

And God is your Father and the judge, and Jesus is Your advocate.

Let me take you to 1 John 2:1, “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous one.”

So He is our Mediator. He is our advocate who stands before the Father. And I strongly believe He has never lost a case—not even in any one of our cases. He always brought us to a position of “not guilty.”
