“Be strong and courageous!” (Part 18)

Then Jesus started preaching, and we find here He said in Luke 4 and verse 27,

"There were many lepers in Israel, but they were not healed except one man named Naman."

Luke 4 and verses 25 and 26, it says that there were so many widows in Israel during the famine, but the Lord met only one woman from Sidon.

Jesus preached about that.

"And all in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath." (Luke 4:28)

They knew that their hearts were so hardened and filled with unbelief.

They didn't want Jesus to preach there.

Eventually, this is what happened to Jesus.
Luke 4:29.

“And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.”

They wanted to throw Him down the hill.

See, He preached the Truth. But they didn't want to hear the truth.

But if you have the truth in your heart, you will honour Him and
connect yourself with the truth.

But if you don't have the truth, you are very shallow, always looking for a prophecy.

If you see the four gospels, Jesus was a very Mighty Prophet.

The Bible says, "He was a Mighty Prophet."

But He never went around giving personal prophecies to every individual.

We find that He taught the Word of God.

He was always teaching the Word of God.
