Word of the Lord for 2026

“Be strong and courageous!” (Part 22)

When my wife and I were going to church, we were doers of the Word; we were trying our best to hear the Word of God, and do and live by it.

We always got a hold of the Word and started applying it.

We didn't run after people who were trying to play us out, but we went into the Word of God.

We had many meetings even at that time; in the 1980s we had people who were coming from various places and were trying to hoodwink people, but we stood on the Word.

A certain man who knew that I was arranging meetings came and said, "I have a special gift of pushing people down. Can you arrange a conference for me?"

I said, "No, I don't have any plans of putting people down, but I have plans of lifting people up."

Then he said, "No, but you have to get this anointing to come upon them."

I said, "The anointing is in the Word of God."

If people fall, let them fall, but you don't have to make it a show. And that kind of a flow died, or that wave passed away.

We had all kinds of things happening, and people had all kinds of sayings. But we stood by the Word.

"And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:”
Matthew 7:26

I don't want to be a foolish person. I want to build my house on the rock.

I want to dig deep.

Luke chapter 6 verses 46-48.
46 And why call ye me, "Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like:"

48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
