WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

With a song in my heart On my lips from my spirit

He brought me out when I shouted

No longer to linger in bondage tradition is broken

With the timbrel the harp and the trumpet
I’ll sing out so gladly
Unto the God of salvation I’ll sing a new song
I’ll lift up my voice in the presence of God
In the morning
I’ll sing of His deeds of His majesty all the day long

I’m getting to know Him much better
As I praise Him daily
Speaking and hearing His Word it’s a new way of life
Natural things fade and dim in the light of Your glory
And one day in Your courts
Is much better than a thousand outside
