Willis reasons that the believer's ability to be faithful depends upon the believer's ability to be teachable, obedient, and stand firm, as Gideon did. Rev. Willis explains that often God's instructions do not fit into our common sense reasoning, but if we remain teachable, we can attain the requirements for faithfulness and will be able to be used mightily by God.
