HEALING BELONGS TO YOU TODAY!

It's sad to say but many Christians today believe that God's healing power has passed away, or only existed in Bible times.

Many also believe that God is the cause for all pain and suffering. They even blame Him for all the bad things that happen to them.

They prove this by taking the scripture from Job 1:21 where it says, "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord."
However if you read this scripture in context, you'll notice that in chapter 3:25, Job confesses that it was HIS FEAR that brought destruction upon his life.
God had blessed him abundantly with all goodness but Satan stole it away from him. Why? As said before, Job opened up his life to fear and gave the enemy room to destroy everything he had!

Fear is a spirit that can cause great harm to a person's life.

2 Timothy 1:7 says that God has not given us the spirit of fear; but He's given us power, love, and a sound mind.

We've got to realise that Satan is the author of all fear and destruction.

God is the giver of abundant life.

John 10:10 says that the thief (Satan) comes to steal, kill and destroy: but I (Jesus) have come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly.

When God created this world, sickness and disease did not exist. It all began when Adam and Eve obeyed the voice of Satan by eating of the fruit, which allowed Satan to steal the authority and dominion God had given to them. In doing so, Satan was able to exercise dominion over man causing him to be seperated from God.

But thank God for Jesus!

He came to this earth to destroy the works of the enemy and gave us back the authority which Adam lost at the garden of Eden (Hebrews 2:14,15).

In Luke 10:19 Jesus said, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

This means we have power over all sickness, disease, fear and every evil work of the enemy.

When Jesus bore those 39 stripes on His back, He took it for every sickness and disease that could be named. The crown of thorns on His head, symbolises that we have freedom from all mind problems.

To make it simple, Jesus took the curse and gave us the blessing. (Galatians 3:13)

When we understand the true meaning of the cross, it will bring joy into our lives instead of sorrow!

You don't have to be bound any longer to sickness and live in pain the rest of your life!
Healing is a free gift that God has given you! You don't have to beg God to heal you because He has already done it 2000 years ago. All you have to do is receive it by faith and believe that it is yours today!

Here are some scriptures you can refer to concerning healing. Consider them as God's healing medicine for your life:

Isaiah 53:4-5
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Psalms 118:17
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

Psalms 103:2-5
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Exodus 23:25-26
25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
