ON THE NIGHT WHEN JESUS WAS BETRAYED

VERSE 1:
On the night when Jesus was betrayed
Breaking bread with thanks there He prayed
He said ‘This is my flesh which is given for you
In this you show my death till I return’

CHORUS 1:
Take this bread it is my body
Broken for you your life to redeem
Every time you partake
A memorial you make unto Me
Remember Me

VERSE 2:
Let each man consider his own heart
Before he takes the bread and drinks the cup
If a man eat and drink in an unworthy way
He incurs condemnation on himself

Take this cup it is my blood
Poured out for you your life to redeem
