HOW TO BE A DETERMINED CHARACTER IN LIFE! (PART 1)
Rahab, who was a prostitute, is mentioned in the New Testament.
As a woman of faith her name comes along with Abraham.
Because she simply did not have faith only but she proved faith with her works.
God is interested in having faith and let your faith also have works with it or corresponding action.
You will need this kind of a character to face your new year.
You mean to say a character of a prostitute? No, she had repented when she heard about the greatness of God.
Joshua chapter 2 and the story here we see is Moses is dead and gone now.
Joshua was supposed to lead the people to the promised land.
And Joshua he thought, ok let me send two spies into the promised land and check the promised land out.
So, when these two spies came in, they couldn't freely move around.
Finally, they ended up in this harlot's house. And then thereafter, she hid those two. She spoke to those two.
I’m just taking her character into facing the new year.
This was a woman who was a heathen woman we would think. She's not a believer.
But when the two spies came in, she said I want to know about this God more about this God that I've heard about.
As soon as we heard about you every one of us, our hearts were melted.
You'll are the people who were the slaves whom God redeemed and brought you through the Red Sea and destroyed the strongest force––Egypt, you were able to destroy the strongest force.
