FAINT NOT
2 Corinthians 4:1
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2 Corinthians 4:16
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Ephesians 3:13
Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
Greek meaning for faint - to be bad or weak, to fail in heart, to be weary; worthless, depraved, injurious; bad, evil, harm, ill, noisome, wicked.
Greek meaning for not - A primary word; absolutely negative no or not: nay, neither, never, no, none, cannot, nothing, unworthy, without.
Here is a Prayer Confession:
Seeing I have this ministry, as I have obtained mercy I do not faint; I am not weak, my heart will not fail and I will not be weary.
I will not let my mind yield to discouragement and I will never give up. Although on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart yet on the inside - my inward person, where God has given me New Life - it is renewed day by day.
Not a day goes by without God’s unfolding Grace. I will not get tired of well doing: for in due season I shall reap, if I do not faint and give way to weariness.
I will not be discouraged; I will not give up! Neither will I quit! I will not lose heart at my troubles and afflictions, which are my glory.
