WAITING UPON THE LORD
God is a personality! He is someone whom we can have fellowship with all the day long. He is also a God who loves to share His heart with us! Isn't that amazing?
The book of 1 Corinthians 2:16 tells us that we have the mind of Christ. This means everything that belongs to Jesus, also belongs to us.
It also says in Jeremiah 29:11, that God's plans for us are good and prosperous!
Just by reading these verses, we can clearly see that God is truly a personality who is interested in each and every one of us.
When we receive Jesus Christ into our lives, we become His sons and He becomes our Father. Every good father has good treasures laid up for their children.
James 1:17 says: Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Everyday we need to confess the blessings that God has provided for us. Our confession brings the possesion.
So just begin to thank and praise Him for benefits such as healing, prosperity, a sound mind, wisdom, deliverance and so much more!
Psalm 100:4 says: Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Psalm 37:4 says: Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give you the desires of your heart.
