Rahab, who was a prostitute, is mentioned in the New Testament. As a woman of faith her name comes along with Abraham. 

Because she simply did not have faith only but she proved faith with her works.   

It is God’s divine power that gives us these things. How? Through the knowledge of God. 

These things come by knowing, believing, and acting on these promises, then you partake of God’s divine provision.

God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to me:” Hosea 4:6. In this verse God reveals the major source of destruction: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
